Mr Khalid Ikram

A Consultant Ophthalmic and Refractive Surgeon at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport and is also an honorary consultant at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, one of the largest ophthalmic teaching and training centres in Europe.

After undertaking an advanced specialist training period (fellowship) in corneal and refractive surgery, Khalid has built up further extensive experience in all aspects of modern small incision refractive cataract surgery, as well as clear lens surgery, PRELEX and laser vision correction.

Mr Leatherbarrow

Mr Leatherbarrow was appointed as consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 1992. He has undertaken adult cataract surgery for over 25 years, being involved in the transitions from intracapsular cataract surgery to extracapsular cataract surgery in the mid-1980s and from extracapsular cataract surgery to small incision phacoemulsification surgery in the early 1990s.

Mr Imran Rahman

A full time Consultant Ophthalmologist practising at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital. His major interest, and subspecialisation, is corneal and routine and complex cataract surgery.
